On 16th October 2007, Mr. Hu Siyi, Vice Minister of Water Resources met with Mr. Loic Fauchon, Chairman of World Water Council (WWC), who is on the visit of China to attend the 3rd International Yellow River Forum.

The two sides exchanged views on cooperation in the fields of sustainable utilization and management of water resources and preparation work for the 5th World Water Forum in 2009.

Officials or representatives from the Department of International Cooperation, Science and Technology of MWR, Global Water Partnership--China, China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research also attended the meeting.
