The Yellow River has entered the flood season on June 15th declared by the Yellow River Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarter (YRFDH) and corresponding flood control mechanism has been initiated.

At present, Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters of provinces along the Yellow River as well as related departments are ready for cope with probable flood, as having no flood in lower Yellow River for more than 20 years, and the emergence probability of great flood has increased.
